Well, here it is Friday!  We arrived here at Sombrero Marina and Resort on Tuesday afternoon.
the first leg of our cruise down from Fort Myers on Monday went very well.  A six hour trip to Russell Bay in the Ten Thousand Islands.  The bay is just off the route to Everglade City.  On our way into the bay we got to see a group of White Pelicans on one of the sandbars.  At anchor we could see the Herons fishing from the Mangroves and the dolphins feeding along the shore.  Into the evening we could still hear the dolphins splashing.   The mosquitoes did not come out until dark.  The stars were beautiful. the moon had not yet risen.
