The promising sunrise gave way to clouds which cleared out later.  In the Sapelo Sound the current was strong and against us.  The currents changed in our favor as we entered Chreighton Narrows.  St Simons Sound was choppy and difficult due to the inlet from the ocean and the change in navigation markers.
We took a slip at the Brunswick Marina which is past the port.  The port ships paper products and chicken feed.  Georgia Pacific Paper Mill was at the far end with the breeze coming in our direction.
After boat chores and a nap we changed into short, the temp had reached 81 degrees.  We walked into town but were disappointed in the downtown area that was dotted with wonderful parks and interesting buildings with shops that were deserted.
Dave made the acquaintance of the captain next to us on a trawler Shandu from Canada.  He built it himself and they are on their way to Trinidad.  (not their first trip)
Back aboard we were entertained by the sailing school practicing off the marina.
